ESL Students at CE-Miramar

ESL Students at CE-Miramar get double the support!

The Immigrant Support Program (ISP) works in tandem with the Miramar Dreamers Support Program to provide support to undocumented and immigrant students taking courses through the College of Continuing Education—including but not limited to the English as a Second Language (ESL) program—at the Miramar College campus.

Immigrant Support Program

The Immigrant Support Program (ISP) is a specialized initiative aimed at promoting the academic success and cultural integration of international students. ISP provides services such as language assistance, mentorship programs, and customized workshops. The ISP Student Resource Center is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and located in room 212 at the Cesar Chavez campus.

If you have further questions about the Immigrant Support Program contact Counselor Victor H. Gonzalez, vgonzalez001@sdccd.edu, or ISP Counselor Coordinator Sheyla Castillo, scastill@sdccd.edu.

Dreamers Support Program

The Miramar Dreamers Support Program offers supplemental in-person support for CE-Miramar Students through 1-on-1 support sessions, AB 540 eligibility, career guidance, immigration relief referrals, and much more!

If you have further questions about the Dreamers Support Program contact Program Assistant Edward Borek, eborek@sdccd.edu.

The English as a Second Language (ESL) program at SDCCE offers classes for beginners, intermediate, and advanced English language learners. Classes are available in-person and online.
