REC Open Mentor Lab Hours are back every Thursday evening from 4 to 8pm at the REC Innovation Lab! Any mentor can come for all, or part of the time, to meet with student founders, answer questions, and just have an opportunity to get together and connect with others who share a passion for entrepreneurship and innovation! We really appreciate everything you do to help. I will be there every Thursday and I would be happy to see you whenever you have a chance to stop by. More information is below:

When: Thursdays 4:00pm - 8:00pm
Who: REC Mentors and REC Student Founders ONLY* - All other Miramar College students are Invited to First Thursdays Open Mentor Lab Hours on the First Thursday of each month
Info: We ask mentors to spend at least one hour per month meeting with students in REC Mentor Lab Hours which are held each week on Thursdays from 5pm to 8pm at the new REC Innovation Lab located in the C-Building on the Miramar campus. Through our program, we hope you will share your knowledge, experience, professional skills and talents with startup entrepreneurs. We provide network opportunities and exposure/awareness for you and your business, and a chance for you to shine by helping our students launch startups.
We also ask mentors to present a workshop on the topic of their choosing when possible. Workshops are typically held both in-person and online and you may be able to present remotely if preferred. We also ask you to connect with students on business networking sites such as theRECConnect.com and LinkedIn to help them to expand their reach. Please like, comment, and share their posts so they can gain more visibility in your network.
