UPDATE TO CERTIFICATION PROCESS

Please note that there has been an update to the VA certification process within SDCCD. Since each college (City, Mesa, & Miramar) is now considered a separate facility by the VA, each campus must certify students taking classes there.

What this means for you:
With the new VA certification process, each campus is now responsible for certifying students who are taking classes at their campus. This means that students who are utilizing CH.31 VR&E benefits will have to obtain separate PO #'s for each campus.

If you haven't done so already, for the Summer 2026 Semester, or don't have a valid/unexpired PO# with your home campus (Miramar), please provide your VR&E counselor with the following information to obtain PO #'s to ensure there are no delays in payment:

San Diego Miramar College:

Facility Code: 14985405 | Tax/Bookstore ID: 95264429902 | [email protected] | SCOs: Armando Gonzalez, Ron Felix

San Diego Mesa College:

Facility Code: 1100005 | Tax/Bookstore ID: 952644299 | [email protected]

San Diego City College:

Facility Code: 11000505 | Tax/Bookstore ID: 95264429901 | Armando Manzo (A-L): [email protected] | Nicolas Johnson (M-Z): [email protected]

If you make schedule changes, submit a Class Adjustment Form immediately to avoid possible VA payment issues or debts:

If additional information is needed, we will contact you.
