TB Testing
As of immediately Health Services will no longer be allowed to help staff/employees with their TB tests. All staff will be responsible for obtainng their own tests off campus.
TB (PPD) testing is a two step process.
During Summer 2012, testing will only be administered on Mondays during business hours; tests will be read on Wednesday.
Students with previously positive PPD test from BCG vaccine or other causes should bring copies of both a positive PPD skin test and a copy of negative chest x-ray specific for TB. Questions regarding previously positive testing should be directed to the nurse on duty.
Students may also obtain low-cost services for TB testing/x-ray from the County of San Diego (619) 692-8600 located at 3851 Rosecrans street, no appointment necessary, they are generally open Monday thru Friday 9am—4pm.
