To improve the efficiency of our petitions processes, all petitions must be submitted to the Admissions & Records Office by 5:00 pm on each Monday of the week for committee review and a same week response in most cases.
Miramar College Counselors are available to meet with you in a variety of ways to assist in achieving your academic goals.
- Counselors are available for brief advisement sessions, commonly referred to as "walk-in" counseling. Students, who have quick questions and/or would like assistance with semester planning, can be seen during this time.
- We recommend that students, who are seeking assistance with transfer planning or long-term planning, make a 1 hour appointment. Long-term planning sessions are offered the second week after the start of the semester and end when registration begins for the upcoming semester.
Before scheduling an appointment you must have the following:
- A valid CSID number
- Official transcripts from all prior colleges attended on file and evaluated. Students wishing to have their transcripts evaluated must complete a Request for Transcript Evaluation form. Please call or come into the office to complete this process.
