San Diego Miramar College is approved by the California State Department of Education and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and College (WASC).
San Diego Miramar College is also approved (under Title 38 U.S. Code) by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education and the Department of Veteran Affairs Regional Office, to train United States active duty military personnel, military veterans, and their eligible dependents.
Application to the College
All VA applicants must complete the Application for Admission to San Diego Miramar College. Students who have not been in continuous attendance for one year must file a new application for admission. Applications for admissions are available on the Internet at

Veteran/Active Duty Military Priority Registration Information
Students who are Active Duty Military, or discharged within the past TWO years, may be eligible for priority registration. All applicable persons must bring a DD-214 (veterans discharge form) or an active duty military I.D. card to the Residency clerk in the admissions office (C-303) on campus.
