Minimum Transfer Admission Requirements
o
Complete a minimum of
60 CSU-transferable semester units.
o
Complete
General Education (GE) requirements in
written communication,
oral communication,
critical thinking, and
mathematics with a
"C" or higher in each.
o
Earn a minimum
2.0 cumulative CSU-transferable GPA. Applicants must meet
this GPA at the time of application and must maintain the GPA
prior to transfer.
o
Be in
good standing at the last college or university attended.
The Animal Health Science, Animal Science, Architecture, Civil
Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering majors at Cal Poly Pomona

Recommended Transfer Coursework

CSU GE pattern or the
IGETC pattern. The CSU GE pattern is usually the best
choice unless you are also considering applying to a UC campus,
in which case the IGETC pattern is usually the best choice.

How to Apply & Transfer

Submit CSU Application at
www.csumentor.org.
For fall admission, apply October 1 to November 30 of the
year prior to transfer.
For winter admission, apply June 1 to June 30 of the year
prior to transfer.
For spring admission, apply August 1 to August 31 of the
year prior to transfer.
Cal Poly Pomona may accept late applications, second
baccalaureate degree seekers, or lower division transfers during
