Minimum Transfer Admission Requirements
Cal Maritime accepts both lower division (less than 60
CSU-transferable units) and upper division (more than 60
CSU-transferable units) transfer students. Due to the
specialized nature of coursework at Cal Maritime, several majors
require a four-year commitment of study regardless of previous
academic coursework completed. Therefore, students are
encouraged to transfer to Cal Maritime as early as possible.
Visit
www.csum.edu/futurestudents/TransferPrepare.asp for more
information on transfer admission requirements.
