Selective Service registration must be confirmed by the Selective Service agency. You may register by mail at any U.S. Post Office or on-line at http://www.sss.gov. Students must demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office through the Federal methodology need analysis system. Student Aid Report vs. Institutional Student Information Record

The Student Aid Report (SAR) is the set of papers the student receives from the Central Processing Center. It is the student's copy of the information that he or she reported on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Review all comments as well as all information reported on the application, paying particular attention to bold-faced items.

  1. If any student needs to make changes or corrections to the Student Aid Report, make the appropriate corrections, sign the certification page (including the parent signature if necessary), and mail both pages of Part 2 to the address listed on the back of the SAR. The student may also bring all pages of the SAR to the Financial Aid Office, or make corrections over the Internet at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
  2. For students who do not have their SAR and/or are unable to obtain a duplicate SAR, contact the Central Processing Center at (800) 433-3243. If you have questions regarding your application, call the same number Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
  3. If no changes are required, students should keep their SAR for their own records. A letter will automatically be sent to each student which will include any forms necessary to complete the student's file. Contact the Financial Aid Office if no letter is received.

The Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR) is downloaded to the campus financial aid system sometime in March of each year and every weekend thereafter. The ISIR contains the information the student reported on the FAFSA, and which was used in the need analysis calculation. Changes to the ISIR can be made electronically. Students wanting to make corrections through the electronic process must bring Part 2 of the SAR to the Financial Aid Office with the corrections and signature(s) on the certification page.
