Location

The Counseling Office is located in Building C-302.

Hours

The Counseling Office is open Monday - Thursday, 8am–6pm. and Friday, 8am–12pm. You may call the Counseling Department at (619) 388-7840.

How to Make an Appointment

You can go to the Counseling Office in C-302 or make an appointment by calling (619) 388-7840. If you have attended colleges or universities other than City, Mesa or ECC, you will need to have an official copy of your transcript sent to our district office at San Diego Community College District, Attn: Records, 3375 Camino del Rio South, San Diego, CA, 92108. You will also need to request to have your transcripts 'posted' by an evaluator before you may schedule an appointment with a counselor. Appointments are about 1 hour in length and are only available during certain times of the year.

Drop-In Counseling

Drop-in counseling provides a way for you to see a counselor to get a quick answer to a quick question (one that can be covered in 5 to 10 minutes). Records from other colleges are not available for this session. Drop-in counselors are available at all times in which the Counseling Office is open.
