We hire tutors at the beginning of each fall and spring semester. Initially we hire tutors to assist students with college reading & study skills, math, or composition. After you complete
Education 100, you may "specialize" in other subjects.
You may also want to lead small, one-time workshops or on-going study groups. You will observe group tutoring and have training before you can lead workshops.
You must have a desire to help our students to become successful in college, be a good student yourself, and take Education 100, Tutor Training.
