MARINE CORPS SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION, INC.
One year scholarships from $1,000 up to $10,000
Applicants must be the son/daughter of one of the following:
- Active duty or reserve U. S. Marine
- U.S. Marine who has received an Honorable Discharge, Medical Discharge, or was killed while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps
- Active duty or reserve U.S. Navy Corpsman who is serving, or has served, with the U.S. Marine Corps
- U.S. Navy Corpsman who has served with the U.S. Marine Corps and has received an Honorable Discharge, Medical Discharge, or was killed while serving in the U.S. Navy

JUST ANNOUNCED! ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY SPOUSE EDUCATION INCENTIVE
A new active-duty military spouse educational support program has recently been announced by the Pentagon. Eligible spouses can receive up to $3,000 per year (for a two year period) to pay for education and training. Money can be used for tuition, fees, books, and equipment, as well as credentialing and licensing fees. Targeted programs of instruction include teaching, health care, information technology, financial services and construction.
Specific bases in San Diego County have been identified in the first phase of the project (MCAS Miramar active duty spouses are NOT included, but other bases in the SD region are). 3. Counseling - Meet w/ Counselor for an education plan, course advisement, preparation for transfer, and SOCMAR/NAV Agreement.
