Miramar College Automotive Technology Internship Orientation Student Reauirements and Responsibiiities
WHAT IS AN AUTO TECH INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE?
An Auto Tech Internship is working as an intern ( an employee ) in a sponsoring dealership while  attending Miramar College. Under the supervision of a Certified Technician, the student is given an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge and the technical skills.

This work experience is invaluable in creating a firm foundation for the student to achieve his/her career goals. Within the dealership, the student learns the importance of becoming a member of the dealership team while developing  pride in his/her workmanship.

The student experiences the satisfaction that comes from meeting the needs of the customers and providing the highest degree of customer satisfaction.

The income received from the intemship helps defray the cost of the education, but is not designed to fully support the student while completing the Auto Tech A.S. degree.
