Miramar College Foundation
The Miramar College Foundation is a group of college staff and local community and business leaders who spearhead and monitor college fundraising initiatives and drives. Through the efforts of this group, scholarships and grants are made available to a wide variety of Miramar students who demonstrate merit and/or need and college innovation projects. Community Advisory Committee
Any community college's success is enhanced by feedback and assistance from the community it serves. At Miramar, the Community Advisory Committee consists of a number of energetic and insightful community and business leaders who meet regularly to advise the college of programming, image, initiatives, and ways to best serve the local community and the City of San Diego.

We are always looking for community and business leaders who would like to join our Community Advisory Committee and help Miramar serve its community to the highest degree. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact the office of the President at 619-388-7834.

icon  The Southern California Biotechnology Center (SCBC)@ Miramar College is one of six centers funded by the California Community Colleges Economic and Workforce Development Program. The Biotechnology Initiative partners with local industry to meet the workforce needs of the biotechnology industry.

Partnering, both formally and informally, with our local public schools allows all of us to best serve the educational needs of those who live in our service area. Miramar College has a number of strong partnerships, articulations, and shared projects with local schools, particularly high schools.
