Current Assessment Activities

At San Diego Miramar College, assessment of student learning and student achievement are central to the Program Review process and are the foundation upon which improvement strategies and resource needs are based. The College believes that the student should be the center of the assessment process and the focus at each step within the cycle:

The College has adopted a 3 year cycle for both its Program Review process and the assessment of SLOs at the course, program, and service unit level. The below tables provides a visual example of both assessment activities and program review activities that will occur during the current 2018-2021
