The Miramar College Foundation, a California IRS approved 501 (c) (3) Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation, was officially created on August 21, 1994, to help meet the needs of San Diego Miramar College students and the growth of the campus.
The purpose of the Foundation is to provide a channel for financial and other contributions to directly benefit Miramar College students. All student scholarships and all other programs administered by the Foundation are wholly dependent on the generosity of benefactors who choose to donate to the Foundation.

Dear Online Visitor,
Thank you for checking out our website. The Miramar College Foundation provides a channel for financial and other contributions to directly benefit deserving San Diego Miramar College students. We do so by administering scholarships and supporting innovative educational related programs that are not funded by the San Diego Community College District and would therefore not otherwise be available to our students.
As you explore the site, you'll see many ways in which you can make a difference! No gift is too small. We welcome all contributions from individuals, corporations and foundations. Some donors choose to fund special programs and projects, wile others provide for a memorial or tribute to a loved one through scholarship funds or facility naming opportunities.
Please help our students' dreams come true by considering a tax-deductible contribution. We are currently creating online giving capabilities; but right now, you can send a check to the Miramar College Foundation or contact us to discuss how you can make a charitable donation.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Miramar College Foundation is to make a positive difference in the lives of Miramar College students, offering opportunity for advancement and learning, for a better citizenship, increased productivity, and satisfaction of attained goals. The Foundation seeks to keep higher education accessible to Miramar College students through scholarships and grants and by funding innovative educational programs to prepare students for future workforce and career needs.
