San Diego Miramar College Women's Soccer Clinches Back-To-Back-To-Back Conference Title

 

MIRA MESA — Undefeated San Diego Miramar College Women's Soccer clinched their third straight Pacific Coast Athletic Conference title with a 7-0 win over Grossmont College on Friday.  Coming off their 2011 undefeated season, the lady Jets have dominated the conference again, allowing only two goals against their 78 to date.   In it sixth year of existence, the Miramar College women's soccer program,  led by former soccer pro, head coach Sean Bowers, came into the season nationally ranked at #7 in the country in the Community Colege Division III by the National Soccer Coaches Assocaition of America (NSCAA).  The lady Jets will play a final PCAC game at Southwestern College on Friday, Nov. 9, the outcome of which will not affect the title crown.  State playoffs will begin Nov. 17.
