Miramar College will accept a limited number of nonimmigrant F-1 visa students. Acceptance into the program is necessary before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Form I-20 is issued by the college. The decision to grant an acceptance will be based on all evidence received prior to the deadlines. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Admission for the Spring semester: Students must complete and submit all admissions requirements no later than October 1 to be eligible for the spring semester.
Students will receive notification of the decision on their acceptance or denial approximately 30 days after the application deadline.
- All International Students must become familiar with the regulations of the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement Services (ICE) and assume responsibility for complying with those regulations.
- All International Students must attend a mandatory 2-day orientation session to be held approximately three weeks prior to the start of the semester.
- International students must enroll in and complete a minimum of 12 units each semester. Part time enrollment will not be approved.
