Centrally located within San Diego County, Miramar College offers first-class facilities that are maintained by professional staff to the highest standards. Rental of campus space is available for external events and activities that are consistent with the use of college property. Use of District property is encouraged for groups and organizations whose purposes and objectives contribute to the development and welfare of the community at large. Such use must comply with the provision of law and District policy, procedures and local campus/center/site regulations.
If you are interested in renting Miramar College facilities, please complete the Initial Request and Estimate Form and click submit. Someone in the Business Office will contact you after your request has been reviewed.
- Requests must be made at least 30 days in advance.
- No food or beverages allowed in any room.
- A liability waiver naming San Diego Comunity College District as additionally insured is required.
- Parking Monday - Friday is $1/hour or $5 daily.
- Minimum 4 hour rental charge.
Hourglass Field 32 Acre Athletic Complex
San Diego Miramar College and Hourglass Park—The perfect locations for your community event.
Perfect for national/regional competitions and events, youth day camps and athletic organizations. Available for rental week days, Monday through Friday.

All facilities are maintained by professional staff and to the highest standards. Rental rates vary depending on type of group (profit, non-profit, community service organization, civic organization, others). San Diego Miramar College rates are commensurate with fees charged by the City of San Diego for Hourglass facilities.
In accordance with the Civic Center Act, San Diego Miramar College rents campus space for external events and activities, consistent with use of college property. If you wish to apply for use for any of the Hourglass Facilities, please fill out the College Property Use Application and return to Anna Liza P. Soriano, or mail to 10440 Black Mountain Road, San Diego, CA, 92126, or drop off to Aquatic Center P-101 Office.
