Computers

The PLACe has computer software programs to help with reading, writing, math skills as well as CD-ROMs in other subjects such as biology, Spanish, history and statistics.

No appointment is necessary to use our computers.

Media

There is no appointment necessary to use our media collection. We cannot check out media, so plan on using the media in The PLACe.

We add new titles and new editions of textbooks all year, so check back occasionally.

In addition to one-on-one tutoring, study groups, workshops, open math and writing labs, and multimedia learning resources, The PLACe can be a used for independent study. Have a some time before, or after your class? How about in between classes? Come to The PLACe and study! Need a location that is free from distraction? Come to The PLACe! Need a place to meet with your classmates to study or prepare for a presentation? Come to The PLACe!
